Thoughts on flash | Steve Jobs

Part of what make current technology great is the fact that it can be adapted and simplified. Unfortunately there is technology out (and their creators) there that refuse to let go of old stuff that doesn’t make any sense anymore.

Flash for mobile was one of those technologies. I said was because as of today Adobe killed mobile flash.
Thank you Adobe for realizing the need for a lighter, simpler technology and moving on.

That’s why I am pointing to Steve Job’s fantastic thoughts on flash.

Modern tools and gadgets are power-hungry and over complex. We don’t need to make them more so by adding plugins and add-ons that are simply don’t play nice with trying to make life better.

Just my thoughts.
